Cinematography video feedback and learner response: Feedback from teacher: WWW: The camerawork is very good: steady, well-shot and almost always crisply in focus. This is so important for professional-level work. Audio works appropriately for the type of video and you've covered the different shot types and camera movements comprehensively EBI: Revise tracking shots: by definition a tracking shot can't be going down stairs! That would be handheld. I don't like the transitions. You generally won't see that type of transition in professional work so something to consider in terms of editing in future. Reflection of my work: WWW: Various shots , angles and camera movements applied , action shot edited well. Ensured camera was in focus and steady by using the tripod EBI: Altering the transitions made the video look unprofessional Ensure the shots are correct Learner response: think about what you learned making the vid...

Mise-en-scene blog task: In this particular scene, the costume on both characters portrays their status and class, this is seen where the female character on the left which is Lauren (Taraji Henson) is portrayed to be wearing smart wear as she is wearing a black shirt paired with a tight black pencil skirt showing that she is a more sophisticated character and is part of the middle class. However, the male character opposite known as Dominic (Michael Ealy) is portrayed to be a working class character which is conveyed through his costume as he is wearing a typical leather jacket paired with blue jeans. The fact that they are only having a conversation and Lauren is seen to be wearing business wear indicates that she has a very high status and reputation and is seen to be more classy as her legs are crossed. On the other hand Dominic is more tranquil and looks more welcoming. High key lighting is applied in this scene to create a more natural setting and a sense of realism...

Sound Analysis: 1) Choose a 60 second piece of music - ideally from YouTube and not something that is likely to be blocked on copyright grounds. 2) Using editing software (Windows Moviemaker is fine but Adobe Premiere is available on Media PCs) produce a one-minute montage of images and video. Half the images need to be parallel to the music and half need to be contrapuntal . Think carefully about how you can best select images and video to have a significant impact on the audience. 3) Upload the finished video to YouTube and embed it in your own blog with a brief description of what you've created. Note: due to videos being blocked on copyright grounds, please also save the exported video file (e.g. MP4) into your student folder on the M: Media Shared drive. In this video i conveyed the difference between parallel ad contrapuntal sound by applying a happy themed soundtrack throughout the video. I then added happy a...

Star persona video: In this video for the mise-en-scene we used various types of make up mostly dark to make a zombie look alike. We were inspired by many pictures we had seen of zombies, thus we gathered different ideas in order to perform this look. We made his hair messy and added scars to enhance and create more emphasis on the zombies look.

Film Poster Analysis: 1) What do you think the film is about and what might the story-line be? 2) What genre do you think the film belongs to? 3) Who do you think is the target audience? I think the story line is about villains taking over the world and heroes fighting to save it. I think this film genre would be a Sci-fi due to the fact that the poster has a space shuttle which makes it seem more fictional. Furthermore the light is unrealistic and makes the movie seem more like a fantasy. I think the target audience for this movie would be teenagers. I think this movie is about teenagers portraying characters that have appeared in several scary movies and turning it into more of a comedy, which i noticed from the review which stated "absolutely hilarious". I think the genre of this film would be a comedy in general but to be more specific a parody. The target audience for this movie would be teenagers...
